Aldwark Manor Estate with 185 acres of land in the magnificent countryside of Yorkshire was built by Lord Walsingham in the late 1800’s as a wedding present for his eldest daughter. Bourke Build were instructed to undertake the strip out, structural works of the reception area and restrooms. Due to the large scale and height of the reception area this required an excessive amount of specialist propping system to support the structure while undertaking the works. Bespoke frameless glass was installed to the opening of the reception for customers to walk in.

Stone repairs were carried out to restore the heavily damaged masonry arches which resembles the St. Pancreas Station in London which resulted in an extremely pleased client and Architect.
